Donald Trump has been charged with obstuction of justice. To be specific obstructing congress. Defying people like Nancy Pelosie and Ralph Nadar may be the best thing President Trump has done so far. That and blowing up the Bidens are good things he's done for our country not bad.

Because that's what you do when you've done nothing wrong, you don't cooperate, right? Let me know how that would work for the ordinary guy.

On the other hand, I am not against examining the Biden relationship and
see if that had any influence on US-Ukraine policy however. I haven't
dug into it but you hear media saying it was already looked into, but I haven't heard of any kind of report being released on it.

There's very little doubt that he will be impeached. Then the
"case" will go to the Senate, who will vote that he *NOT* be
removed from office. Put money on that.

He'll finish out his term, just like Slick Willy did when he was
impeached. Personally I suspect this whole process will work in
his favor come next November, and he will be re-elected and serve
    a second term.

In the end, history will show that he was impeached, yes.

here in Utah our democrat congressman (Ben McAdams) said he would vote for impeachment even before the articles of Impeachment were laid out, We are going to send Ben McAdams a case of chapstick because he is a partyline puppet butt kisser and I am sure his lips are chapped.

If Trump can be impeached then every President past and present
could be impeached. Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler are the only ones
that abused their power for personal gain.

to Impeach there has to be high crimes and misdemeanors, they don't have that with Trump, what they are trying to do is effect an election in their favor (the Dem's) they know what they have is flimsy at best that's why Adam Schiff publicly made up Trumps phone call to give Trump a political black eye.
thats when Trump released the transcripts and gave Adam (the liar) Schiff a political kick in the ass.
this is all about Democrat dirty tricks to try and win the whitehouse in 2020 what they don't realize is they're helping Trump:).

Well yes, every president can and a few have been impeached. The presidency is not a free ride.

Actually 2 president's have been impeached.
    1.Andrew Johnson.
    2.Bill Clinton.
the bar is pretty high to impeach as it should be, otherwise both parties would impeach president they don't like, Trump most likely will be impeached by the House and aquitted by the Senate.

Most likely those other countries were corrupt with our tax dollars. A good
topic on that is Biden and his crack head son or Ronney's son and Pelosi
    son also.

Hay how about going back in time where is that 20 some billion of tax dollars
Bush lost for the rebuild of Iraq, no big deal we can get more.

Or Clinton foundation and over a billion for the rebuilding of Haiti.
Or the sale of our stock pile of uranium to Russia for what was it a million
for a speaking engagement in Russia with Bill Clinton.

Or how about Bush and WMD in Iraq.

Or Ronald Reagan term in office and the CIA bring in horse to sell to kids
    in the US.

Or the one that hits home with me is a picture of a buddy in Nam holding a
bag of horse that the CIA were stuffing in dead GI coffins then loaded on
US Air that the CIA owned.

Or the secretary of military department under Bush stating we will stop the

You listen the DEMS and say Holy Shit this guy should hang for that. Then you listen to the other side and you say Holy Shit well that's not right. Nobody has any proof. All the charges should be dropped! I thought I lived in a country were a man is innocent until proven guilty. WTF??? The DEMS are JUDGE, JURY, and EXECUTIONER. Damn! What country am I living in?? This is all about Ego.Oowwww The President isn't listening to us says Nancy and Chuck. Impeach Impeach him! Now whenever a President is elected and the opposing party don't like him/her they'll just impeach him or her. And the VP on the ticket will be a minority with a hard left leaning to make the ticket agreeable to those hard lefties.

    Like a Hilary/Patrick ticket.

And I wouldn't doubt if much of the republican senate is behind it too. They will have the excuse they were "Defending" the president when they make this take so long and force all the left senators running to have to drop out, paving the way for a ticket like the above.

They reps have always hated trump too.

The people in power are running the show, not the people of this country.
They are all in it together, always have been, its how they gurantee they all make money. Cuz money is what it's always about.

Uhm No, the was the made up version of Trump's call by the Adam Schiff,

True, Instead they charged him with abuse of power and obstructing Congress, the only problem is what he did was ask about corruption from the 2016 election that involved Bidens Son working for a gas company making $50,000 a month and he has zero experience in that area, sounds to me like Joe and Hunter were selling access to Obama's white house.
and the false claim that he Obstructed Congress, He was seeking leagle remedy through the courts because of Adam Schiffs abusive schemes.
If there is a Democratic front runner that has not jumped in yet they're running out of time to do so, some states require that candidates file by a certain time.

Well, that is because the Senate did not vote to remove him from
office. That does not change the fact that he was impeached. He
    was.

Impeachment and removal-from-office are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

The House impeaches, the Senate removes from office (or not).

Clinton was indeed impeached, and so was Trump. Clinton was not
removed from office by the Senate, and it's highly unlikely that
Trump will be. Still, both were impeached.

On December 19, 1998, Clinton became the second American president to be impeached (the first being Andrew Johnson, who was impeached in 1868), when the House formally adopted articles of impeachment and forwarded them to the United States Senate for adjudication.

Now the house laywers are trying to get him on the Mueller report findings, It's sad they have to keep trying the same old crap.

The good news is that when they start campaigning in 2020, all Trump will have to do is show the Dems own sound bytes and he'll be elected for a second term.

I remember when the news was fairly unbiased, boy those days are gone.

They've been gone longer than many people think. I was pointing out this 20 years ago. But now the media (I won't say "news" because there is no more news or journalism. There is only "media".) isn't even trying to hide their bias.

It reminds me a Tucker Carlson video I saw recently. He was talking about the 1998 Romanian Revolution. When the ex-Dictator was about to be executed, he just started giving orders to the people who were about to shoot him - as though he was still in power. The Dems/Media are like this. They don't understand that they no longer have broad power. We don't blindly believe what the media says anymore and we certainly haven't blindly trusted any Congress-critter in a long time.

It's not up for debate. There is nothing written that says the
articles have to reach the Senate to make an impeachment
"official". It became an official impeachment when the House vote
    passed it.

You seem be confused on the fact that impeachment and conviction
are two separate things. He has been impeached by the House,
which is the *ONLY* body who can do that. That is a done deal,
and was done when the House passed the vote to impeach. He has
not yet been tried (or convicted) by the Senate. It's quite
likely that the trial will happen in January, and all signs point
to him not being convicted (and not removed from office).

The point here is that the Impeachment has *NOTHING* to do with
the Senate. He has already been impeached.

I'd tend to disagree. I'd think the word "impeachment" has a specific definition, and if people don't understand it, they probably just lack an understanding of what impeachment actually is. Trump was impeached, but that doesn't mean he will be removed from office. We'll have to wait and see for that.

My wife didn't believe that Bill Clinton was impeached, I had to prove

    He wasn't.

he was impeached for lying under oath and obstruction of justice.
he was acquitted because they didnt get the 2/3 vote.

Didn't they charge him with 11 or 17 actual crimes too?
Bi-Partisan support, his counsel allowed in on everything, he was allowed to call witnesses.

    interesting. 11-17 actual crimes.

    0 crimes for Trump.

    He wasn't.

    Ummmmmmm....... Yes, he was impeached.

    He never left office.

Correct, because he resigned before he could be removed. The

Yes but their argument is that Obama had to deal with the same issue- the reps wouldn't work with him. What did he do? He shoved his policies down our throats despite rep support.

Waiting for Trump to pull that move. So far, hasn't seem to have been done.

The left realizes they will lose seats if they don't get something done.

I'm not left or right, but i do lean a bit right.
The reason I can't get with the left (despite originally being one in my youth) is because they don't seem grounded in reality. They don't think their plans out for the long term, they are willing to put people in a bad situation to elevate another in a bad situation who hasn't taken steps to get themselves out of it, and quite frankly because more often than not, liberals seem like mean people...

I am basing that on interactions, not conspirace you know, so Gamgee doesn't creep up on my ass and call me a stupid, uneducated conspiracy theorist.

I agree. Liberal and convservative were originally economic terms, then somehow it blended in with polarities of social values and opinions of more or less government and left and right wing political ideologies.

The modern descriptions have become so polarized anyone sharing values from both sides gets ridiculed and shamed. Some debates sound like what I imagine new inmates sound like the first day they step in prison. Instead they try
to assert who is further out there.
