The change has got to start with us. And I don't want to hold hands with an of you. I just want to state my piece and not get my head chopped off.
This country was founded on compromise to the center. There is no more compromise. It's all one way or the other.
Shame on us all.
pardon me for interjecting. Throwing my two cents in.
I'm a veteran, re-enlisted once, should've stayed in for life.
Voted Republican in every national level race since 1986, until 2016
Trump uses the language of junior-high students.
Pres. Trump has succeeded through alienation of our global allies, to cause serious riffs in our global commitments to peace.
The Democrats in the House embarass themselves. President Trump is deserving of a lot more than two articles. Additionally, the people of the US, like numbers. We don't like the calculus behind those numbers, but we like numbers. They would have done better to be specific and list 30+ articles than just 2.

We have become more polorized than at anytime in my 51+ years of life.

He's fighting the Left-wing media who will not report truthfully. If
that way works (and it seems to), then that's the way he should do it.

Which allies are you talking about? I haven't seen any series rifts.
Are you talking about the countries who leeched off of us for
protection for years and didn't pay us what they said that they would? Those aren't "allies".
Those are moochers.

Ahhh... Now I see. I hear that the zoo needs more RINOs.

And you should thank the Left (the Dems, the Media, etc.) for that. Everything that they do is to isolate us into groups based on our religion, race, sexuality, etc. and then tell us how the other groups
are hurting us.

You can't compromise with people who refuse to compromise. The
majority has compromised far too long. That's how we got an education system that indoctrinates - not educates. That's how we got a Media
that no longer reports the news - they report the Left-wing Narrative. That's how California went from most prosperous state to a s#!t hole (literally).
The time for compromise with the Left is over.

If you really think about it, I think you will realize that this polorization started before Trump took office. I can remember mentioning
it to someone before I even knew Trump was going to run for nomination.
That strategy is good for winning two or three elections, but at some point it >as to burst. You cannot base your politics in blaming one of the biggest demogr
phic group which also happens to be a big engine for the economy.
From the point of view of an outsider, I have to agree with the above. Some political groups have been abusing Identitary Politics to their advantage. T have indirectly divided the population into groups and told the most vulnera ones that the problems are all the fault of another group.

the way it bursts is the other side takes control for a little while. then cycle begins again.
Seems pretty bleak for any possible moderate to enter the ring and have a chance
any more winning, let alone get past the primaries.

Not just moderates. I do not really like their political ideas, but
Yang and Gabbard seem to be honest individuals. So they, too, have no chance.

Yang and Gabbard are "moderates" in that they are less forceful in their >narrative. But when you listen to what they want, it's still Socialism - which
has failed every time it's been tried.

Most people are against the idea of "The gov't will take (by force) the fruits >of your labor so that they can be given to others (who won't work - and, of >course, the people in the gov't need to take 'their' cut of those fruits)."
