    And you're welcome to suggest a better resource (free) for text usenet groups.

    While not free, it's practically free - news.individual.net based in Germany, it's 10 EUR a
    year (84cts give or take a month) is what I use personally and for my BBS feed.

    i used astraweb and bought a block. but really, newsgroups arent good for text anymore.
