The new version of iPadOS 13.1 was released today on September 24, 2019. I think it was overhyped for what they said about it. 1.48 gb update and expected a whole lot more. Only a few noticeable options.

I don't own any Apple devices myself, but my wife has an iPhone. She installed an update on it yesterday and noted some new things, but also that they also seem to mess up a few things that she has to fix after installing an update.

It seems iOS (at least for the iPhone) now has a swipe keyboard feature (similar to what Android has had for a long time now). I'm curious if they have that for iPad now too. With that feature, you should be able to type words by swiping your finger over (or near) the keys on the virtual keyboard to spell a word rather than tapping each key individually.

I could never/have never tried to get accostomed to a swipe keyboard. I guess I've gotten to the point where tapping works just fine for me.

Probably the most recent skill i've acquired is the ability to incorporate auto-correct when typing, but even that's a stretch. Usually do it when I don't want to spell out words like "incorporate".

Isn't pretty much EVERYTHING from Apple overhyped (and overpriced) ???

    Thanks,

I believe you can on the IPad. Haven't messed with too many of the options myself but the latest update is 13.1.2
