Another question (btw: I do look at the wiki :)

What is message tagging (SCFG -> Messages Areas -> [group] -> Sub Boards -> [board] -> Toggle Options -> Allow Message Tagging?

I was hoping it would enable you to tag a message after you read it, so that you can go back to reference it later.

I'm seeing some great hints and tips, which I would like to tag, and then like the "search for your messages", it would be good to "search for messages you tagged". But it doesnt appear I can do that?

No. I'd call a feature like that: flag for follow-up (or similar).

The tags are part of the message header. Would be faster to filter / display a list of messages
including certain tags rather than searching every message body for #this or #that.

I always thought that kind of message tagging on social media sites would be more efficient (and look better) than just typing #hashtags in the posts.

The idea is that you'll be able to list/navigate-to all messages containing specific tags, like twitter, etc.
