• Screen Pause in "Find text in messages" not quite right

From Alterego@VERT/ALTERANT to Digital Man on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 10:17:11
    Hey DM,

I know I reported an issue with Screen Pause when using Find text in messages, not pausing correctly when using only to display subjects - its still not quite right.

As an example, in Dovenet, I search for "SLYEDIT", and many entries are scrolling off the screen.

I think it is now only pausing based on the count of subject lines being sent, not taking into account the message areas lines (that those subject lines are in).

So while searching on SLYEDIT, I lost the ability to see (unless I scroll back with my client terminal) what message area was currently being shown - and when I scrolled back, there were many more subjects (in other areas) that I didnt see.

    Hope this makes sense :)

Where? On Vertrauen it seems to be working right to me. If it's a problem on your BBS, did you get the latest text.dat file?

Your description makes sense, but I tried it here and it worked perfectly.

I thinking either your terminal length was not detected correctly (during login) or you changed your terminal size after login or you don't have the latest text.dat file. (?)
