I have spent a week trying to get Dormouse stable on Linux and
beating myself against the wall, because as I get one thing
working, something else breaks.

What are you having trouble with?
Folks here can probably help, if you provide some details.

Chris Wilson's guide has been pretty straightforward in getting things running. https://www.netexconsult.com/blog/linux-unix/installing-synchronet-bb s-with-dosemu-support-on-debian-9-5-stretch/. I need to remember to do the Linux Webv4 install not migrate over the Windows Webv4 stuff from the backup of the folder before I started this project.

Just trying to get it stable while attempting migration of data
from the windows install. I broke it somehow yesterday and have
to start from scratch. Along with broke the Timeshift restore.
Just trying to get back to remembering how to do things in Linux
after not using it for some time.

It must have a lot of bad words in it.

I grew up around this stuff and come from a house that ran programs on paper tape and punch cards in the beginning. I was still running programs on paper tape in the 80's while in the Navy.
